Loneliness
Muted colors and expression
When I showed this piece to a friend he asked me “What is it that you wanted to convey?”, and I asked back “What do you think?” Loneliness was his answer, and it was the first time that I’d made a piece that fully conveyed what I was feeling at that moment. This was around the time my grand-mother passed away, and I was in fact lonely.
What is it? I wonder, the pose? The single person going nowhere? The grayish pallette?
